The Independent Forestry Panel has asked you write in and tell them what the English forests mean to you.

 

They have framed 5 questions for you to answer. These are suggestions only and you do not have to stick to them if you do not want to.

 

You can fill in our easy to use, customisable, secure, web to email form on the right to send your response to the panel.

 

ALL RESPONSES HAVE TO BE WITH THE PANEL BY 31st JULY

The 5 questions the panel are asking are:

 

• What do forests mean to you?

• What is your vision for the future of England's forests and woods?

• What do you feel to be the benefits of forests and woods to you a. personally, b. society as a whole, c. the natural environment, and d. the economy?

• Suggestions of practical solutions and good practice.

• What do you see as the priorities and challenges for policy about England's forests and woods?

You do not have to answer all or any of the Panel's questions, which are included to prompt you, you can respond to the panel in any way you wish.

If you believe, as HOOF does, that the Forestry Commission is the best outfit to run the English forests and that they should stay owned by the public, then don't forget to say so.
